Doctor Shoemaker entered our practice in
1989 after completing a fellowship in Sports Medicine and Knee
Arthroscopy. He managed the group from 1992 to 2007. After extensive
involvement in hospital committees and group management as well as
having a busy patient load, Dr Shoemaker shifted gears and began
coaching the high school varsity boys’ basketball team at the San
Diego Jewish Academy in 2005. With both of his children off to
college, Dr. Shoemaker and his wife enjoy travelling and spending
time with their parents and extended families. His other hobbies
include wood working, basketball, waterskiing, and hiking.
