Surgical Billing and Payment Information

After surgery you may receive bills from all providers involved with your care.  Torrey Pines Orthopaedic Medical Group will bill you for the surgeon fees only.  You will, most likely, receive bills from the anesthesiologist, the facility (surgery center or hospital), and the assistant surgeon.  In addition, if an implant is necessary for your care, you may receive bills from a device company.  Our office does not have information as to whether or not these entities are contracted with your personal insurance plan, nor do we have their rate information.  If you have questions or concerns about these other entities, please contact your insurance company or the surgery facility.  If you have questions regarding our surgeon charges, please feel free to contact our business office at 858-452-1159.
